The release of "Nebula Romance Part 2," a sequel to the concept album "Nebula Romance Part 1" released last year, has been announced.
"Nebula Romance" is a grand concept album that depicts a tale of romance where cosmic expanse intertwines with more personal emotions. The second part of the album depicts how the themes presented in the first part are concluded, Perfume evolving to a new dimension, and the story's ending.
The lead song, "Meguri Loop," is the theme song for the NTV drama series "Chihayafuru -Meguri-" (starting July 9th at 10pm), and this will be the first collaboration between the two artists in about 10 years since "FLASH" and "Mugen Mirai" were the theme songs for the film "Chihayafuru -Kami no Ku, Shimo no Ku, Musubi-" starring Hirose Suzu, which was released in 2016 and 2018, respectively.
Furthermore, the album includes 10 songs, including "Nebula Romance" (the main content song for the NTT Pavilion at the Osaka Kansai Expo), which opened in April using NTT's latest technology "IOWN," "Human Factory - Denzou Ningen -," the theme song for the movie "Showtime Seven" starring Abe Hiroshi, and "Moon," the theme song for the CX Wednesday drama "Barakamon." The first limited edition comes with a bonus disc and special booklet, as well as the second part version of the emblem badge that was also included with the first part last year.
The bonus disc will include multiple contents, including "Perfume View," which contains the making of the music video.
