From the TV anime "Super.

Dimension Fortress Macross," the Variable Fighter "VF-1D" piloted for the first time by the main character "Hikaru Ichijo" is now available as a brand new plastic model kit in Battroid form.

The powerful proportions that are faithful to the design drawings and the image from the anime were achieved by eliminating transformation and making it a battroid only.

Each part is molded in five different colors, and just by assembling it and applying water transfer decals you can achieve a realistic finish.

You can also paint the details to make it look more like the one in the movie.
- Polycaps are used for each joint, allowing for smooth posing.
- Water transfer decals are used to recreate various markings, and bullet damage seen in the film is also depicted on the decals.
- The gunpod can be assembled in a shortened state by using special parts.

In addition, parts for attaching to the forearm are also included.

(Some modifications are required to attach it to the forearm.).
Includes a seated figure of "Ichijo Hikaru" of the same scale, with parts for the seat raised.
- Includes figures of Lynn Minmay and Yo-chan in the same scale.
