Akagi, the flagship of Nagumo's task force, which supported the rapid advance in the early stages of the Pacific War, is made with finely detailed parts!
The standard version is made up of a minimum number of parts for easy assembly.
The product is an unpainted kit that requires gluing and painting.

The scale is 1/700, and the model does not include the bottom of the ship.

This product is made using a conventional (special series) mold.

The aircraft carrier Akagi was constructed as a battlecruiser under the 8-8 Plan.

During the war, the ship was converted into an aircraft carrier under the Washington Naval Treaty.

When it was completed in 1927, it had a unique shape with three flight decks, but between 1935 and 1938 it was extensively remodeled into an aircraft carrier with a full-length deck.

After that, it became the main force of the Japanese Navy's aircraft carrier force, and participated in the attack on Pearl Harbor at the beginning of the Pacific War and the Indian Ocean Campaign.

Damaged by attack from US aircraft carrier task force during the Midway Island invasion in June 1942.

The aircraft and bombs/torpedoes on board caught fire, and the ship was destroyed by torpedo attacks from destroyers.

[Basic specifications]
- It is an assembly type with adhesive, and is characterized by its detailed construction that pursues the shape.
- The molding color is mainly gray, so you can enjoy painting it while assembling it.
