This is a monotone color model of the GW-5000, which inherited the DNA of the first G-SHOCK model, the DW-5000C, born in 1983, and has evolved into a radio-controlled solar watch.

It reproduces the details of the original model, such as the heavy metal case, screw back, and face design.

While strongly inheriting the DNA of the first model, it pursues even greater toughness.

The metal case and screw back are treated with DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) to enhance wear resistance.

In addition, the screw back is mirror-finished to create a high-quality feel.

In addition, the main resin parts, such as the bezel and band, are made from biomass plastic, which is expected to contribute to reducing the burden on the environment.

This is a special model that incorporates advanced technology into the original G-SHOCK design that was born in 1983, for an even more refined finish.
