◆Signal contacts and new function buttons to support comfortable shooting When the camera body recognizes the signal contact mounted on the mount adapter, lensless release mode is automatically turned on. You can smoothly transition to shooting without having to make settings from the MENU screen. By pressing the function button, you can instantly call up the mount adapter setting mode. It supports comfortable operations such as when setting and registering the lens to be used, and when changing lenses.
◆High-precision design The standard flange back length of 27.8mm for M-mount compatible lenses has been designed to maintain high precision and high flatness. In addition, we have adopted a three-layer parts structure using the optimal material for each part. The surface for attaching M-mount compatible lenses uses stainless steel parts used for X-mount camera bodies, and the surface that contacts the camera body uses aluminum parts similar to those used for XF lenses. Aluminum is used for the middle part, ensuring high durability and rigidity due to the all-metal material.
