TOMYTEC 1/12 Little Armory M249 Upgrade Type. The M249 was adopted as a squad support weapon by the U.S. Army in 1982, and even after its adoption, it has undergone upgrades that reflect battle lessons, and has transformed into a different form from the original "Mini-Mi". The M249 used by the US military in the 2020s has been improved mainly in the following points. Two types of long and short barrels, the elimination of the gas regulator, the adoption of a rail hand guard and its accompanying improved two legs, the adoption of a scope, the use of a telescopic stock, the adoption of a 200-round cloth magazine, etc. This Little Armory is a 1/12 scale reproduction of the M249 with these improvements (the stock and barrel length can be selected from long or short).
