TAMIYA 1/48 MM King Tiger (Henschel turret). T32536 King Tiger Hen Released in May 2015
[Product Introduction]
King Tiger is Germany's strongest heavy tank that appeared in 1944 in the latter half of World War II. In addition to thick armor measuring 150mm on the front and 80mm on the sides, it is equipped with a powerful 71 caliber 88mm gun that can destroy any Allied tank from a long distance. The first 50 prototypes had a turret designed by Porsche, while the production version had an improved turret designed by Henschel. They fought hard until the end of the war, including being intensively deployed in the Battle of the Ardennes in December 1944, when the German army sought to turn the tide. It posed the greatest threat to the Allied forces. The mass-produced model with a total length of 211mm and a Henschel turret is reproduced with a high degree of realism. The loader's hatch can be opened or closed, and the other passenger hatches are movable. The chassis is die-cast to create a sense of weight. The caterpillar is a connected type with straight parts integrated for ease of assembly. Comes with 3 types of decals.
