TAMIYA 1/35 Ground Self-Defense Force Type 61 tank. This is a plastic model assembly kit of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force Type 61 tank, which was officially adopted in April 1961 as the first domestically produced tank after the war. Taking into consideration Japan's topography and railway transportation, we have thoroughly modeled the compact style. The turret equipped with a 90mm gun is realistically reproduced down to the details such as the 12.7mm machine gun, smoke discharger, and canvas fabric on the mantlet. The carvings such as the bolts and weld marks on the transmission inspection panel at the front of the vehicle have a delicate finish. Set of 5 types of slide marks including 1 tank commander figure and 8th tank battalion.
