[Product introduction]
TAMIYA 1/35 scale German heavy tank Tiger I type (late production type).
[The model conveys a sense of weight, making it the strongest tank of World War II]
One of the tanks is said to be comparable to five Sherman tanks, and was a major threat to the Allied forces during World War II. This is the German Tiger I. The vehicle's body, which weighs 57 tons, is protected by 100mm of armor on the front, and its main gun, the 56-caliber 88mm cannon, is based on the famous 88mm anti-aircraft gun and boasts the power to shoot through armor plates at a distance of 2000m at a distance of 100mm. It produced many tank battle aces including Michael Wittmann. Mass production began in July 1942, and a total of more than 1,300 units were produced. Following the power-up of the engine, improvements were made such as installing a periscope on the conning tower and adopting pressed steel wheels. The type is called a late production type. Total length 241.5mm, total width 106mm. The heavy form composed of vertical surfaces is realistically modeled. The main gun loading section in the turret and the back of each hatch are also reproduced. Realistic details such as hinges and grilles enhance the sense of precision. The caterpillar is connected by gluing each block together. The last model main gun barrel with a smaller muzzle brake is also included. Comes with one commander figure, and you can choose between two types of heads: an officer's cap and a general cap. Realistically reproduces the heavy form composed of vertical surfaces. Each hatch can be opened or closed. The track is a connected type where each frame is a separate part, reproducing the natural sag and weight.
