[America's first full-fledged amphibious vehicle]
The Ford GPA was an amphibious vehicle used by the US military during World War II. . It was developed by incorporating the engine and running gear of the famous Ford GPW, a small four-wheel drive vehicle, into a newly designed boat-shaped body, and was adopted as a legal system in April 1942. The rear of the vehicle is equipped with a screw and rudder for water navigation. Many were also used in the North African invasion in November 1942, the Sicily landing in July 1943, and the Normandy landing in June 1944. Approximately 12,800 units were produced by June 1943.

This is a plastic model assembly kit for Ford GPA. ●The unique boat-shaped style is realistically reproduced. -The engine hood can be opened or closed, and the engine inside is also made into parts. - Photo-etched parts are available for the ventilator cover and hatch stay. -A set of 3 dolls: a driver and 2 dynamic soldiers. -Comes with two types of decals: Tunisia Front and Normandy Landings.
