PIT ROAD 1/700 Maritime Self-Defense Force Aegis Destroyer DDG-174 Kirishima Comes with new equipment. DDG-174 ``Kirishima'' was commissioned in 1995 as the second ship of the JMSDF's first Aegis ship ``Kongou'' class, and became a BMD (ballistic missile defense) compatible ship in 2010. Currently, she belongs to the 6th Escort Squadron, 2nd Escort Group, whose home port is Yokosuka.
