FUJIMI 1/700 Ship NEXT Series No.9 Japanese Navy Battleship Yamato 1945/Operation Shoichi. Yamato, the first ship of the Yamato-class battleships, was completed in December 1944 as the culmination of large ship construction technology from the Kongo class to the Nagato class. The product is based on the motif of the "Battle of Leyte Gulf" when the ship sortied with the second ship "Musashi" to defend the Philippines. The No. 22 electric probe attachment part on the side of the bridge reproduces its appearance before relocation. The air defense command center is equipped with a binocular telescope as a bonus part. The machine gun firing device in the front of the chimney is the same as before the addition. The jib crane/aerial column at the stern, which was removed in the final version, will be reproduced in a correct shape different from that of Musashi. The aviation work deck and the wooden deck in the center of the ship are made of special parts. Two secondary guns have been removed and six 12.7cm high-angle guns have been installed. For the hull parts, we have prepared special parts for the type with closed portholes. Contains the lieutenant general flag representing Commander Kurita sitting in the seat. The part comes with a No. 13 electric probe. The pedestal has been newly renewed! During assembly, it can be turned over and used as a parts holder.
