[Product introduction]
finemolds 1/72 Japan Air Self-Defense Force F-15J fighter “J-MSIP” (modernized aircraft). As of 2023, approximately 200 F-15Js, the main fighter aircraft of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force, are deployed in nine squadrons nationwide. In addition to the excellence of the basic design, the modernization and renovation of electronic devices such as radar and onboard equipment has been underway in the United States since 1983 as the MSIP (Multi-Stage Improvement Program), taking advantage of its high expandability. However, the capabilities of the Air Self-Defense Force's F-15J have been gradually improved as the J-MSIP, a modernized aircraft that includes modifications unique to Japan, and even now, nearly 40 years after its introduction, it remains Japan's main fighter aircraft. He is on air defense duty. At the same time as the "Hot Scramble 1984" that reproduces the shape of the initial deployment, the modernized and refurbished specifications that are the current specifications are also made into a kit. The differences in the current F-15, such as the exhaust nozzle without an iris cover and various antennas, are carefully made into parts. The decals reproduce the 201st Squadron (Chitose Base, Hokkaido), 204th Squadron (Naha Base, Okinawa Prefecture), and 306th Squadron (Komatsu Base, Ishikawa Prefecture).
