FineMolds 1/48 Imperial Navy Nine Trials single-seat fighter. The predecessor of the Type 96 carrier-based fighter, which was the main fighter before the Zero Fighter, was the Nine Trial single-seat fighter. Jiro Horikoshi designed the Navy's first all-metal monoplane, an innovative design that later led to the Zero Fighter. This kit reproduces the first aircraft with reverse gull wings. The package is a new package depicting a test flight at Kakamigahara.
