In June 1940, the Japanese Army imported three Bf 109 E-7s from its ally Germany for research purposes. This Bf 109 conducted simulated air battles with Japanese Army fighter aircraft such as the Type 2 Single Battle (Shoki), and became a major clue for Japan to understand ``what a heavy fighter aircraft is.'' It is also said to have served as a reference for aircraft design that took water-cooled engines and mass production into consideration. This product reproduces this imported No. 1/2 machine. New decals have been added to TAMIYA's Bf 109 E-7, and scene parts such as a Japanese Army pilot statue, maintenance soldier, drum can, and Type 89 fixed machine gun are included. Also included is a seat belt for German aircraft from the Nano Aviation series. Reproduces the Japanese Army's Unit 1/2 imported from Germany. The airplane itself is a TAMIYA Bf 109 E-7.
