This is KATO's completed N gauge vehicle, the DD51 late model cold-resistant type Hokutosei (gray H-rubber).
Introducing the DD51, an indispensable train for Hokkaido's night trains, which are made up of 14 and 24 series trains. Enjoy driving with your favorite passenger cars.
It is also recommended as a locomotive for pulling the [10-1953 14 Series 500 Sleeper Express "Marimo/Daisetsu/Rishiri"].
This is a product of JR Hokkaido's Blue Train towing machine (A cold region specification). It is equipped with a snowplow, a rotating window, a whistle cover, and reproduces the form of the vertical rain gutter. It reproduces the appearance after removing the tablet catcher and its protective plate. The H-rubber on the front and side windows and the bonnet connection part reproduce the gray appearance. The head mark stay with a distinctive shape is reproduced with a separate part. The use of a power unit with a flywheel enables stable running. The head mark comes with "Hokutosei" and "Hokutosei Tomamu Ski". The headlights light up. Uses a warm white LED. Arnold coupler is standard. Replacement knuckle coupler included. Hokutosei color selectable number plate: "1083", "1095", "1102", "1143", manufacturer's plate: "Hitachi". By using the "28-260-1 DD51 powered bogie (without tires)" product handled by Hobby Center Kato, you can enjoy smoother driving when operating in multiple units. In addition, by using the "28-267 DD51 Light Unit for Multiple Units (Set of 2)", you can recreate the state in which the headlights of the second locomotive are turned off during multiple unit operation. *The model train is powered by the rails. No batteries are used even when running, emitting light, or turning on. *Batteries are not included with this product. *This product does not use fuel. *Fuel is not included with this product. *Paint is not included with this product.
