Product introduction A double set has been released to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Shinkansen opening and the 65th anniversary of Plarail. This special set reproduces the 0-series Shinkansen Hikari No. 1, which opened in 1964, and the Plarail Super Express Hikari, which appeared in the same year as the first real train reproduction model. It also comes with an opening commemorative ticket based on the design of the time.
