Robust and easy to handle
After quitting at the former fishing tackle shop, I didn't go fishing, but after 15 years, I resumed bass fishing and bought Sco-D first after longing for Shimano's DC sound. Sco-D was good and I was impressed with the evolution of technology. In the meantime, I thought I had never used Daiwa products and wanted to buy Steez, but I was troubled by SVTW or ATW, but I decided to buy ATW because it was robust. I heard that it will fly, but if you just say it ’s just the distance, Sco-D feels like flying. However, ATW has a feeling of winding and lighter than Sco-D. Actually, I was worried with SVTW because I thought I didn't have to fly that far, so there was no complaint as to its comfort. The satisfaction is quite high and it is fun to cast. SVTW says that it is difficult to buckle, but if the ATW also gets a good summing when landing, the buckler will hardly do the brake adjustment. At first, I wanted to buy an ATW and put an SV spool on it, but since the Mag Z spool is quite good, I'll buy another one and put on an SV spool in the future.

Winding length (cm / handle 1 rotation): 75
Gear ratio: 7.1
Weight (g): 190
Maximum drag force (kg): 6
Spool diameter (mm): 34
Standard spool volume Nylon (lb-m): 14 (0.31mm) -115/16 (0.33mm) -100
Bearing (ball / roller): 8/1
Handle length (mm): 90
Number of CRBB / Total BB: 8/8
Handle knob S exchangeable / salt compatible
Flying and winding
A cutie bait that can be used tough to polish the basic performance
TWS: Same as STEEZ SV TW, equipped with a 3rd generation, compact type turnaround TWS that matches medium and small caliber spools
Contributes to lighter and more compact body
Super high rigidity and high precision Super metal housing: Compared to STEEZ SV TW used only on the handle side set plate, the main housing and side plate are also made of super metal.
There is no sense of rigidity at all
Ultra-high precision G1 MAG-Z spool: Ultra-lightweight and high-precision magforce Z spool realizes quick start-up by synergy with TWS
Sustain high rotation and connect to the latter half
Excellent low trajectory growth during pitching
Flat type high grip knob: The flat type that has been used in the US model
A high-grip coat that sticks to the finger is applied to the surface to achieve a stable and powerful winding.
TWS: “Turn around style” TWS, in which the T-shape level wind rotates in half according to clutch ON / OFF
When casting, the level wind rotates forward, and the line is released smoothly through the wide part of the T-shaped level wind.
At the time of retrieval, the level wind turns halfway in a backward direction, and the line is guided in the groove below the level wind and is tightly wound in parallel.
Maintains the same flight distance and trouble-free features, but sticks to toughness
Mag Shield: DAIWA's unique waterproof structure that shuts out intrusion of seawater and dust, etc. by creating a magnetic oil wall and maintains light and smooth initial rotation performance for a long time
"Mag shield ball bearing"
that applies this technology to the ball bearing itself, which is the key to rotational performance, is installed in the pinion gear section.
Waterproofing, durability, and rotation performance are further improved assuming use with salt water
ATD: A new generation of drag system that continues to work while smoothly following fish pulls
Smoother start than before, making line breaks less likely, and less disturbing the fish due to less discomfort to fish
This field is not limited to freshwater, and this machine is widely compatible with game fish around the world.
Drag MAX up to 6kg while achieving smooth operation with ATD
Can handle fights that do not drag
Drag extraction sound is set large while keeping smoothness
Magforce Z: The magnet structure of the magforce remains unchanged, and the inductor rotor operates smoothly according to the number of rotations of the spool, making it possible to strengthen the brake in the first half of the cast and weaken the latter half. Cast feel is obtained
Proven brake mechanism with features such as easy adjustment of brake force and strength against external environment
Super metal frame: A frame made of super metal (high-strength aluminum) that has high rigidity against torsion during reeling, reducing power loss and enabling powerful winding.
Real Precision Spool: Boasting ultra-high accuracy with an error of only a few microns, this spool has realized overwhelming long-throw performance
In the palm of the angler, you can always present a lure farther away with a quiet, stable and stable rotation performance.
Speed shaft: When spool is free, the spool and shaft are separated and the spool is supported only by BB
Compared to the long shaft structure, it becomes shaftless and eliminates extra resistance, so ideal spool rotation can be obtained.
Tough &
rigid clutch system: precise and durable clutch system
Salt barrier tough clutch: An electrolytic corrosion prevention system that eliminates clutch malfunction due to salt fixation during use at sea
Large diameter &
long arm star drag / drag adjustment / drawer click / shower washable STEEZ SV TW sibling series that is compact and tough
With super-high precision super metal housing, smooth and light rotation performance is maintained even when used in tough tournament trails in the United States, and keeps the highest level of winding sensitivity.
A compact TWS that matches the spool size of the 1000th size makes the reel body compact.
And with the TWS + ultra-high precision G1 MAG-Z spool, it releases the lure line while standing up at high speed, boasting a long throwing performance higher than the SV concept
Line capacity also secures 16lb.-100m and supports tough fishing with thick thread
In addition, one mag shield BB is arranged on the pinion shaft, realizing a high level of salt compatibility
Widely compatible with game fish around the world, mainly on buses
