Design and technology to the limit of thinness

-Flagship model commemorating the 40th anniversary of Citizen's photovoltaic power generation watch announced at Baselworld in 2016

At the 40th anniversary, we once again faced the question of `` what is the essence of the watch '', and expressed the value of Eco-Drive (photovoltaic power generation) as simply as possible, realizing a beautifully sharpened thinness.

・ The world's thinnest * 1 Eco-Drive watch with a 1.00mm movement

・ The newly developed movement is only 1.00mm thin and the case thickness is 2.98mm * 2 (design value), both of which pursue the thinness to the limit, realizing the world's thinnest as an analog photovoltaic watch

・ In order to realize a 1.00mm thin movement, almost all parts including gears are newly manufactured.

New ideas that can only be realized because Citizen is a manufacture have been devised everywhere.

-The exterior that has achieved 2.98mm uses a new material with high rigidity to achieve "thinness".

The bezel and back lid nameplate use a composite cermet

* As an analog photovoltaic watch

June 2016 survey by Citizen Watch Co.

* 2 This value is a design value.

The actual product may be up to 0.22? Thicker than the design value due to tolerances
