This is the Tamiya 1/12 Electric RC Car Series No. 754 RC Lamborghini Cheetah (2026). This is an assembly kit of an electric RC car that reproduces the Cheetah, a prototype military vehicle of Lamborghini that was unveiled at the 1977 Geneva Motor Show. The basic configuration of the original vehicle that appeared in 1978 remains the same, but with improvements. The rugged form without doors and based on straight lines is realistically reproduced with impact-resistant polystyrene resin. The interior, including the meter panel, seats, and fire extinguisher, is also modeled with great three-dimensionality, and a mesh rear plate is also provided for a highly realistic finish. A driver figure is also included to enhance the feeling of driving. The chassis uses a channel-type frame made by molding light and strong duralumin plates into a U-shape. The vehicle features a 2WD configuration with the driving battery mounted vertically in the center and the motor mounted at the rear to drive the rear wheels. The receiver and ESC are mounted on duralumin mechanical stays on the left and right of the rear, resulting in excellent weight balance. The rear-end gearbox is sealed to keep out dust and pebbles. The suspension is a double wishbone independent system on all four wheels. It uses four horizontally mounted metal torsion bar springs with adjustable effectiveness. The tires are hollow rubber with a distinctive V-shaped flat tread pattern. The wheels are 3-piece for high strength and securely hold the tires. They are fixed to the wheel hub with five screws. A duralumin front underguard is also equipped to protect the vehicle from crashes. Both the front and rear mounts have internal catch fittings that fit into the chassis, resulting in a realistic finish with no protruding mounts.
