A pure shallow runner that dislikes changes in depth. The frilled lip, a distinctive look of the frilled swimmer, is based on the idea of a "frill = resistance plate" rather than the popular "lip = diving plate" structure of typical minnow plugs. In other words, the braking effect against input means that even when retrieved over long distances, the change in diving depth is extremely small, making it possible to keep the lure at a certain depth.
