Product Number: SBR-261 Release Date: May 13, 2026 Shipping Estimate: 3-7 days after release date CD Album Rock Distributor: Indie Manufacturer *As this is an independent product, delivery may take some time. Please understand in advance. Takagi Mahiko's 1st full album, "Orion Letter," will be released under her solo name for the first time since the band disbanded. The album is rooted in the roots music that Takagi Mahiko loves, such as 60's, Rock'n'Roll, Soul, and Folk. The band members include guitarist Tsuyoshi Yuda (from Kiteki to Inu), bassist Mitsufumi Okada (from The Pees, Golden Loafers), and drummer Daiki Kawashima (from Kiteki to Inu, Supernova), and these four also perform together in Tokyo as THE MAHICOPS. Guest musicians include trumpeter Fanfan (ex. Quruli), guitarist Ulful Keisuke, and arranger Hiroki Sakai (ex. Shekina Babies). The recording took place at Walk On Soil Studio in Nishi-Ogikubo under the direction of engineer Shinsuke Sasakura. After the dissolution of "Takagi Mahiko and Shekina Babies," which had been based in Osaka for 16 years, Takagi Mahiko moved to Tokyo alone, and each song reflects her current state.
