Shimano IZANAS: A reliable line made with Japanese raw materials and manufactured in Japan. A high-strength, low-stretch PE line made from high molecular weight polyethylene. *IZANAS is a registered trademark of Toyobo Co., Ltd. New PE line braiding method "VT method": An original method that enhances strength and low stretch. Braiding is done with twists in opposite directions depending on the bobbin's trajectory! This allows for uniform braiding of the thread and has the effect of increasing strength. The "VT method" is an 8-strand braiding method that applies tension and braids tightly, resulting in a low-stretch structure: By adjusting the tension, low stretch is achieved, approaching that of "Tough Cross". Reduced guide noise: The smoothly finished surface minimizes guide noise. Improved slipperiness: By braiding tightly, the surface is finished more smoothly. This contributes to line resistance during casting and good water drainage.
