Shimano's "VERSATILE Concept" "Excite Top Model" is a lightweight rig-focused shaking special, the "261SUL+", equipped with the "Excite Top" tip to enhance shaking performance and sensitivity. It truly shines in fields where 3-inch to 4-inch baitfish, mainly based on smelt, are the main target. To adapt to the slow tempo and unwanted rolling characteristic of rig settings with weights of 3/64oz. to 3/16oz., it pursues ease of shaking from the tip to the belly. Its versatility is also appealing, as it is useful not only for hover-strolling and mid-strolling, but also for neko rigs and down shot rigs in areas with few snags.
