The Shimano S54UL is a versatile spinning model for stream fishing. While it excels at fishing with heavy sinking minnows, it also handles a wide range of lures, from lightweight floating minnows and spoons to darting lures, at a high level. To compensate for the lack of stretch in the PE line system, which has become mainstream in trout fishing, the tip section has been made softer than the previous model. This achieves a good hook-setting ability that can handle missed bites. The newly designed blank, equipped with [Spiral X] and [High Power X], improves casting accuracy and lure operability.
