The Shimano Cardiff [B77ML] is a baitcasting model designed for cherry salmon in main rivers and large trout in lakes and wetlands. It can handle deep divers, spoons, heavy sinking minnows, and vibrations, and its soft tip allows for the manipulation of lightweight minnows, making it adaptable to a wide range of lures. While offering a good balance of agility and casting distance at 7'7'', it's also powerful enough to handle the strong winding power of a baitcasting reel, allowing you to handle fights with large trout even in rapids and near obstacles.
