What is needed there is good responsiveness and a sharp wobbling roll action. The design also incorporates the instantaneous change in action when casting upstream and then turning across. Particularly noteworthy is the average casting distance of over 60m. This rod focuses on vast shallow areas such as tidal flats and shallow rivers, and is designed to allow for responsive and wide-ranging target searches. It also effortlessly handles drift fishing techniques that utilize river currents. Enjoy the Monica's explosive harmonica bite that gives the rod its name.
