The YF-29 is composed of two colors: gold and black with a subtle, elegant metallic finish, and features a gorgeous design with water-slide decals based on the first key visual for "Macross F Galaxy Live?Final 2025" drawn by Risa Ebata, the character designer for "Macross F".

The costumes for Sheryl and Ranka from Minimum Factory also feature special colors that include metallic components.

The Alto was painted in a light gray color to make it easier to paint.
