"NEW 70'S This is just the beginning" Keisuke Kuwata's new song "Hitotarashi" released!! Having reached the age of 70, Keisuke Kuwata has proclaimed himself a “NEW 70’S.” In Japan, folk songs, new music, and popular songs were experiencing their golden age, while in the US, Europe, and other countries, rock and pop music rose to prominence as the center of music culture. This transitional period is precisely the “70’S” that became an integral part of Kuwata’s life as a musician, and it suggests that he is about to be reborn as a “NEW 70’S” in the Reiwa era. Thus, Keisuke Kuwata will release his 18th solo CD single, “Hitotarashi.” This will be his first CD single in nine years since 2017, and it is scheduled for release on Wednesday, June 24th. The song features a minor-key guitar riff that is reminiscent of the old group sounds, set over an uplifting beat. The tracklist for the single will be announced at a later date.
