The GK-5B replaces the analog 13-pin GK interface used in previous models with a new digital serial GK interface. This high-speed, stable communication opens up new possibilities for bass performance. The Divided Pickup, developed by BOSS/Roland, is a pickup specifically for guitars, basses, and synthesizers. Unlike standard pickups, which output all string signals at once, this pickup outputs each string signal independently. When used with compatible guitars, basses, and synthesizers, you can create different sounds with each string, providing a completely different playing experience than a standard bass. Next-generation Digital Serial GK Interface: The GK-5B replaces the analog 13-pin GK interface with a new digital serial GK interface. A minimalist design has been achieved by significantly reducing the size of the connection terminals. It is approximately half the size of the previous model. To connect the GK-5B to serial GK-compatible products, you can use the specially designed BGK-15/30 cable, which is more durable and easier to handle than previous models. Compatible with a variety of basses: String spacing varies depending on the bass used. The GK-5B pickup has a string spacing adjustment function, allowing you to optimize the setup for your bass. It can also be installed on 5- and 6-string basses, as well as 4-string basses.
