Features: Intuitive Control: The TP-7 is an ultra-compact portable recorder that fits comfortably in the palm of your hand. The design incorporates a playful touch with the cool industrial aesthetic that's characteristic of teenage engineering, and the product's user experience has also been carefully considered. The design, size, and tactile feel of the buttons and rotary controls were carefully considered to ensure easy operation. Tape Reel: At the heart of the TP-7 is the motorized tape reel. A delicately designed brushed motor with ball bearings and a highly sensitive Hall sensor allow you to virtually grasp your recordings. The reel also serves as a fast-forward, rewind, pause, menu navigation, and visual feedback during playback and recording. The side rocker on the TP-7_01 allows for easy control of audio fast-forward and rewind. Press the top edge to fast-forward, and the bottom edge to rewind. As the wheel rotates, you can hear the track fast-forward or rewind at "hyperspeed." Eliminate the hassle of transcription: Anyone who has tried to transcribe audio by listening to it will understand how wonderful this feature is. A key feature of the TP-7 is its streamlined audio-to-text conversion process. Simply connect your smartphone to the TP-7 via Bluetooth or USB, open the TP-7 app, and press "transcribe"! The app will recognize your voice and automatically transcribe. *Currently available in English. Support for other languages, including Japanese, is planned for an update. Quickly respond to "off the record" requests. Imagine an interview. The TP-7's reel slowly rotates, the bright red record light illuminates, and the conversation is being recorded. While the interview is going smoothly, you might suddenly be asked a personal question or asked to keep something off the record. Gently placing your finger on the reel pauses the recording, allowing you to continue the interview without interrupting the flow. Eliminate stress from thought to action. When you suddenly decide to do something, you probably think about the process you need to take to achieve your goal. Create a sequence of actions and complete them in order. The TP-7 is designed to minimize the time it takes to complete a variety of situations. Compare this to recording on a smartphone, the most commonly used device. The TP-7's discreet size and dedicated features allow you to focus on the interview. No need to disable notifications. Podcast: Whether in the studio or on the go, the TP-7's high-quality audio is ideal for podcast recording. Connect up to three external microphones or use the built-in microphone. Check levels with the Vu meter and headphones. Voice Memo: Record your ideas aloud and have the app convert them into precise text. Ideal for professionals, avid thinkers, and writers alike. Eliminate the need for transcription. Field Recording: Inspiration strikes when you least expect it. With a built-in microphone, three inputs, and a 7-hour rechargeable battery, you can record samples and demos on the go with tape at the touch of a button. Never lose an idea again. Live Performance: Use the TP-7 for live performances and recording. Track instruments in the studio or record a live set while performing. You can also use the TP-7 as a turntable and mix with the TX-6. Inputs and Outputs: The TP-7 features three stereo 2-way jacks that can be used as inputs or outputs. You can connect and record external microphones, headphones, studio monitors, or other audio equipment like the OP-1 field or TX-6. The TP-7 also includes a 6.35mm to 3.5mm jack adapter.
