In 1995, 15 years after the band's breakup, band leader Khanh Mai began writing songs to launch a new project. Recording began in 1996, and with the help of nearly 20 supporting musicians, they completed the album. However, no record company showed any interest in their sound, and it seemed as though the album would never see the light of day. Then, Jean Maresca, an A&R representative from their time with WEA, reached out to the band, leading them to a contract with the independent label "XIII Bis Records" on the condition that they re-record their hit single "Sister Jane." This led to the release of "Sun," released in 2000. This fourth album, produced with original member Stephane Kosaliu and new members, features four songs by Khan (excluding "Sister Jane 2000") and the remaining four by Stephane. Compared to the previous three albums, the symphonic and progressive rock influences have been toned down, resulting in a pop and melodic rock sound. Featuring oriental-influenced instrumental parts, Elva Acosta's soft vocals, and Khan's sobbing guitar, this album truly embodies the Thai Phong sound. *UHQCD* E-style double paper jacket〈with obi/Japanese commentary〉Khan Mai (g, kbds, vo) Stephane Causalieu (ds, perc, kbds, vo) Elva Acosta (vo) Manu Duclaux (b) François Ovide (g) Angelo Zurzolo (kbds) Claire Sanghélé (vo) Released and sold by Provided materials (2026/01/29) Information on the work ・Original release date | 2000 Contents ・ Number of tracks: : 1
