Portable housing equipped with five core components: CD servo, USB DAC, R2R module, and Bluetooth module
HiFi-grade USB DAC with outstanding decoding performance
Continuous playback time: Approximately 7 hours (3.5mm single headphone output) / [FIODM15RS] FIODM15RS February 6, 2026
Five-core design, all upgraded. The DM15 R2R is a groundbreaking product that combines compact size with powerful functionality. Its portable housing is packed with five core components: CD servo, USB DAC, R2R module, and Bluetooth module, all controlled and coordinated by an MCU (microcontroller unit). This thorough "core" evolution has upgraded every feature and performance, surpassing products in its category and class.
Proprietarily Developed Fully Balanced 24-Bit R2R DAC Circuit Delivers the Sound of the Golden Era of CD Playback: The DM15 R2R features a proprietary 4-channel, fully balanced 24-bit R2R DAC circuit to reproduce the classic audio characteristics of vintage portable CD players. This DAC is constructed using a total of 192 precision thin-film resistors (48 per channel), carefully selected for 0.1% accuracy and low temperature drift (30 ppm). The result is a delicate yet rich, classic sound reminiscent of the 2000s.
HiFi-Grade USB DAC with Outstanding Decoding Performance: The long-awaited USB DAC functionality is finally here. The DM15 R2R not only delivers excellent CD playback, but also features a HiFi-grade USB DAC. Supporting high sampling rates up to 384kHz/32-bit and DSD256, it delivers the unique sound of the R2R DAC. Equipped with a premium Qualcomm Bluetooth chip, the DM15 R2R offers an enhanced user experience, blending retro and modern styles for advancements in both functionality and experience. Equipped with a Qualcomm QCC3095 Bluetooth chip and Bluetooth 5.4, it supports a variety of Bluetooth transmission protocols, from standard to high-resolution codecs, including SBC, aptX, aptX HD, and aptX Adaptive. The Bluetooth transmission function also supports both CD playback and USB input. A new visual interface makes pairing Bluetooth devices incredibly easy. Note: Supported Bluetooth protocols may vary by manufacturer. Please ensure the required Bluetooth codec is set on the receiving device before connecting. A tempered glass window combines visuals and functionality. The CD cover window and front panel are made of durable, scratch-resistant tempered glass. The all-aluminum alloy housing offers a luxurious feel and excellent tactile sensation, resulting in a minimalist yet fashionable design. A vintage physical interface enhances the immersive experience of CD listening. The DM15 R2R's newly designed retro interface incorporates mechanical buttons, switches, and knobs. This not only ensures smooth operation, but also provides physical feedback through sight, touch, and sound, ensuring the authentic beauty of CD listening.
Centralized technology packed into a slim, one-inch enclosure. Recent portable CD players have become increasingly bulky, undermining their original purpose of portability. The DM15 R2R further refines portability by achieving a slimmer size. Its unique integration of high performance and multi-functionality into an extremely compact, portable form factor sets it apart from other products in its class.
Custom CD Mechanism for High Reliability: The DM15 R2R's disc playback system continues to evolve based on the significant optimizations achieved over the past year with the DM13, with further refinements to the CD mechanism. A self-rebound steel ball design for disc alignment ensures smooth disc insertion and removal and reduces scratches.
Patented "DESKTOP MODE" technology for high power and battery conservation. Desktop mode, which operates via USB power, bypasses the battery, eliminating the need for battery power even at high output. This significantly reduces the number of charge/discharge cycles, helping to prevent battery wear. *If the battery reaches 0% and the power is turned off, charging will automatically begin to ensure battery safety, even when desktop mode is enabled.
ESP (Electronic Shock Protection) switch for improved playback stability By turning on the ESP function, you can enjoy a stable and attractive sound quality experience even when taking the player outside or moving it around on a desk. *Enabling the ESP function improves playback stability, but switching it on and off does not significantly improve disc reading performance.
