Traditional "high-end cables" have focused too much on performance, often failing to fully address the most important aspect: transmitting the player's sound faithfully. The Platinum Link series' F201 model "Fatman" uses a unique NCW1 OFC conductor construction to eliminate the unnecessary sonic artifacts typically associated with high-end cables, delivering a more natural, fat sound with full coverage of the mid-low range—the range most important for guitar sound—without impairing the original sound. It also effectively addresses the loss of high frequencies and thinness often associated with long cable runs. Furthermore, the use of an ultra-dense braided shield and carbon-containing conductive vinyl blocks out electromagnetic noise, protecting your sound from common floor-knocking noise, high-frequency noise from televisions and radios, and noise from motors. The natural, fat sound is suitable for all genres, including rock. (Click here to listen to the audio on an external site.)
