FREE THE TONE has successfully developed a 5mm diameter cable, a rare find. We've poured all our accumulated know-how into this cable to achieve both the sound quality and ease of use required for connecting effects pedals. Cables that are too thick are difficult to use when connecting effects pedals, and the tension in the cable puts a lot of strain on the solder joints, increasing the risk of breakage. FREE THE TONE's CU-5050 Link Cable incorporates various innovations to reduce strain on the solder joints, resulting in high durability and long-term use.
[2017 End of Guitar/Bass Related_kw] CU-5050 Crank Type 50cm Cable: A cable that combines the sound quality and ease of use required for connecting effects pedals. The concept behind this cable is "a sound that makes you want to play forever." FREE THE TONE has successfully developed a 5mm diameter cable, a rare find. We've poured all our accumulated know-how into this cable to achieve both the sound quality and ease of use required for connecting effects pedals. When connecting effects pedals, cables that are too thick can be difficult to use, and the tension in the cable can put a lot of strain on the solder joints, increasing the risk of wire breakage. The FREE THE TONE CU-5050 Link Cable incorporates various features to reduce strain on the solder joints, resulting in high durability and long-term use. It offers the warmth you expect from a cable designed specifically for instruments, allowing you to feel the vibrations of the strings as if they were visible. The concept behind this cable is "a sound that makes you want to keep playing." It delivers a sound that closely resembles the natural resonance of a guitar or bass. It is designed to convey the unique characteristics of each guitar or bass while suppressing harsh frequencies picked up by pickups and output as electrical signals. Regarding the Plug: The plug used in the CU-5050 features FREE THE TONE's unique wave pattern. It provides a comfortable grip for your fingers, making insertion and removal easy. The interior of the plug also features FREE THE TONE's unique shape. The tip (signal hot) has a tongue-shaped connection terminal. Compared to conventional terminals with holes, this allows for a larger contact area between the terminal and the core wire, improving sound quality and strength. The sleeve where the shield connects also has a tab that securely clamps the cable, reducing the possibility of breakage. Cable lineup: CU-5050 Lengths: 15cm/20cm/30cm/50cm/75cm/100cm. Jack placement and orientation vary depending on the pedal. Four types are available to accommodate a variety of situations.
