Casio Watch 50th Anniversary Commemorative Model Incorporating Casio's Will to Create New Value and Continue Taking on Challenges The theme is "The Spirit of Manufacturing, Creating One from Zero" Casio's first wristwatch, the "CASIOTRON," released in 1974, was the world's first digital watch equipped with an auto-calendar function.

Since then, Casio has always challenged itself to seek originality and innovation, and the Casio spirit of creating "from 0 to 1" has been passed down without interruption, accelerating the evolution of wristwatches with developments such as solar charging systems, radio reception functions, and smartphone links.

To create something from nothing, no matter how meticulously crafted something may seem perfect, you must have the courage to break away from current values, add new ideas and thoughts, and continue to take on new challenges.
