● “Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon Chronicles” expresses an aesthetic and solemn worldview in an 8-bit style Two games from the ``Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon'' series, a 2D side-scrolling action game with nostalgic yet new graphics, have been combined into one package. The player controls the main character Zangetsu, an oriental exorcist who hates demons and alchemists, and challenges the devil's castle where Chimi Mouryou lurks. By recruiting the people Zangetsu meets in the story, the number of playable characters will increase. The key to strategy is to switch between the increased number of characters and play by taking advantage of their characteristics. In addition, this series will unfold an epic story consisting of multiple scenarios supervised by IGA (Takashi Igarashi). *The first game, Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon, is an 8-bit style title promised at Kickstarter Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night in 2015. [Story] Once upon a time, there was a man who was cursed by the moon by a demon. Zangetsu, a man wearing a crimson robe and with fiery eyes, travels from darkness to darkness in order to defeat the demon who cursed him and to slay all demons. One night, a man senses the presence of a great demon. Destroy all demons...In the dim moonlight, the man swings his sword. At the same time, the church foresaw the appearance of the "Magic Tower" and dispatched an exorcist to his land. Knowing the church's apostle "Dominic" Zangetsu, she rushes through the dark night to join him. Keeping thoughts separate from those of the church in your heart...
● Increase your allies and strengthen your strength! The characters Zangetsu meets in the story can be replaced at any time once they join the group. Each companion has a unique attack action and individual health, so the more companions you have, the better the battle will be. In Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon, the difficulty level, play volume, and story ending will change depending on how you face your friends Miriam, Alfred, and Giebel. In "Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 2," church exorcists "Dominic," "Robert," and "Hachi" are new characters, as well as playable characters from the previous game.
● Take advantage of your friends and take shortcuts! By effectively using the unique actions of your allies, you can significantly shortcut stages. If an ally is unable to fight, you will be forced to take a detour accordingly, so replace your ally whose health is low and save it until the moment when you need it most. "Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 2" supports two-player simultaneous play using local multiplayer (two controllers). It's fun to combine the abilities of a wide variety of characters and work together to conquer stages.
● Conquer multiple episodes! The story consists of multiple episodes. At first you can only play one episode, but as you progress through the game more episodes will be added. All episodes are connected and will eventually converge into one epic story.
●Play with the “style” that suits you! This game has several game styles, including ``veteran'' and ``casual.'' “Veterans” can play with old-fashioned, strict rules. You can experience situations typical of retro games, such as being blown away by an enemy attack and falling into the abyss... Casual is recommended when you want to have fun casually. It has an easy-to-play style, with no blow-offs when hit, and unlimited life left.
