converts light into electrical energy It refers to the mechanism of a moving clock

It has a built-in solar cell that generates electricity when exposed to light, and when the cell receives light it generates electricity and moves the clock.

In addition, the surplus electric energy is stored in the secondary battery.

As its name suggests, it does not require battery replacement, does not contain harmful metals in the secondary batteries used, and does not use harmful substances in the manufacturing process. We have obtained and were certified as "Eco Mark product&quot
for the first time as a watch

⇒ Also check Citizen Eco-Drive Citizen's original technology to further improve the accuracy of radio-controlled clocks Perfex (Perfex) has three functions: "JIS Class 1 anti-magnetism", "impact detection function&quot
and "needle correction function". It is a technology of full metal Eco-Drive radio-controlled timepiece that integrates the watch and enables more accurate time display.

The first JIS1 type anti-magnetism realized as a radio-controlled watch protects the magnetic field generated by TVs and mobile phones, which is a major cause of clock malfunctions, without damaging the function of the radio-controlled watch.

"Shock detection function&quot
automatically controls the second hand when it detects a shock

Substantially reduces the displacement of the second hand due to external shock

Even in the unlikely event of a needle misalignment, the needle position detection system detects the error between the time counter in the IC and the second hand and instantly moves the needle to the correct position.

JIS class 1 anti-magnetic wave reception capability and anti-magnetic performance are compatible at a high level

Moreover, it realizes JIS Class 1 anti-magnetic watch, which has been difficult to do with radio-controlled watches with built-in antennas.

Shock detection function Quickly detects external shocks

The second hand is controlled by the IC to prevent misalignment

Needle correction function sensor detects the needle position at regular intervals

If there is a deviation from the IC time counter, it will be instantly corrected.

Improve the surface height of Duratect material and improve wear resistance Don't lose the "impression&quot
and "heart shine&quot
when you pick up a new watch

"Duratect&quot
is a technology that expresses such a wish.

No matter how carefully you use it, you cannot escape from small scratches.

In order to protect the watch from such scratches, Citizen has developed "Duratect,&quot
a technology that increases the surface hardness and wear resistance by applying special processing to existing materials such as titanium and stainless steel.

Comparison of scratch resistance before and after Duratect processing with a scratch resistance tester Before duratect processing, scratches easily occur and the gloss of the mirror-finished part is lost

Scratches are reduced after duratect processing, and the gloss of the mirror finish is maintained
