Best watch I've ever owned. I love the look, and the fact that it always keeps time and never needs batteries is fantastic. The solar panels work well, in that the battery level has never dipped below High. I live in Philly so it doesn't get the signal every day, but it does at least 6-12 times a month as far as I can tell so that's more than enough to keep time. My only complaint is that at least 1-2 times a day, it will snag an arm hair and forcefully, mercilessly yank it down to the root. All in all, definitely would recommend it though.

Great watch. Good size for fitting under shirt sleeves, solar charging means no battery concerns, coloring is about as subdued as digital watches get. Atomic time is nice, but since I live on the US West Coast I need to leave it in the window overnight to sync, while I prefer to leave it on at night, so I'll have to live with it not syncing every day and apologize for being a half-second off schedule. As an occasional international business traveler, dual time or world time are a requirement, and the feature is easily accessible on this watch. I was concerned enough about the negative display that I also ordered the positive display version of this watch, and I'm keeping this one. Yes, it's a little harder to see than a positive digital display, particularly in low light, but the automatic light feature works perfectly, and the aesthetic advantages of the negative display outweigh the reduced visibility.

This watch is amazing, superb! You will love this watch. Worth the money. It is like the original Casio watch, but solar now!! You will not be discouraged. I want to comment on shipment and delivery of this watch. The watch was shipped from Japan on Monday and delivery was that same Friday in San Diego County by 5pm. I can't believe how fast I received this watch. This was received faster from Japan than something was shipped from the United States. This company rocks!

Really great looking watch that tells perfect time and wears small, which is exactly what it is designed to do. Fits easily under a shirt sleeve (so it’s great for the office), so lightweight and comfortable you forget you’re even wearing it. A bit pricey for what it is but if you wear it most days of the week it is well, well worth the price

Love it.I do not find any of the issues that people talks about regarding not being able to see the screen.The screen is visible at low light, medium light and daylight. If you put the watch on an angle then is a bit difficult to see the screen.The light is very cool, is a low greenish blueish light that is nice and dim but bright enough to read the display and not too bright that will disrup your night vision.The size is great, I also own the G-shock mudman and that is a monstrosity in your hand, so big and bulky compared to this watch, is very lowkey and somewhat elegant. I wanted a smalled watch because when I conduct searches and have to get into suspect's pockets, the mudman always gets caught up in the pocket and I can't get my hand inside the pocket unless I re-adjust, it is a bit annoying, this watch has a lower profile and is easier to slide inside pockets. I love it.

First of all, if you are concerned about it, I have never once had an issue seeing the display except in obvious low light situations which the backlight works just fine for.My only complaint about this watch is that the "motion sensor" and light sensor are very unreliable. I activated the "auto backlight" feature which turns on the backlight when you move the watch up to see it, but it constantly lit up every time I moved my wrist anywhere at any angle (EXCEPT when I moved it up to my face!). It drained the battery halfway in a week because it lit up constantly no matter how bright or dark the lights were (it is supposed to light up only when it is dark). But it's not like I work outside at night, and the manual backlight works just fine, so this wasn't a big contention point for me.It charges quickly and keeps its charge just fine. All the rest of the settings work great. The band is very comfortable. I've never had trouble syncing the time, it updates on its own all the time. I shower with it every day and work with water and chemicals a lot, I do a lot of physical work - no scratches, no leaking so far - very sturdy and reliable!Most everything that's good in a watch, and it looks really good on your wrist!

My search for a modern look, black, lightweight, digital display, month-date-weekday, nightlight watch is over.I’ve bought three Suunto watches, returned them for the dial seemed too large and put pressure on my wrist as I flexed my wrist.I’ve bought and returned the Nixon Unit SS as it was paperweight heavy for my wrist.
