HASEGAWA 1/72 aircraft series F-15E Strike Eagle. HE10F15E Strike Released September 2019
[Product Introduction]
HASEGAWA 1/72 Aircraft Series F-15E Strike Eagle. The F-15 Eagle is the United States Air Force's main fighter and is said to be the most powerful air superiority fighter. In December 1969, the Air Force selected McDonnell Douglas to develop the F-X, the next major air superiority fighter to succeed the F-4 Phantom II, and the first aircraft made its first flight on July 27, 1972. . Although the aircraft is slightly larger than the F-4, its weight is lighter than the F-4 due to the use of titanium alloys and composite materials, and the powerful engine and the latest fire control system provide excellent flight performance and combat capabilities. I'm proud. The first production version of the Eagle was the F-15A, with a two-seat version, the F-15B, being produced in parallel. From the 446th aircraft onwards, it was switched to the F-15C and the two-seat F-15D. The F-15C is a version of the F-15A with an additional fuel tank inside the fuselage, which had more space, and a corresponding increase in maximum takeoff weight. The F-15E Strike Eagle has further developed and strengthened its ground attack capabilities. The F-15E Dual Role Fighter is a version of the F-15 Eagle with enhanced ground attack capabilities. In order to handle both long-range ground attacks and air superiority combat, fuel tanks called conformal tanks are attached to both sides of the fuselage. This tank also has six weapons stations, and the amount of weapons it can carry has been greatly increased. Along with this, the fire control system has been significantly strengthened not only in air-to-air but also in air-to-ground capabilities. In addition, the F-15E was equipped with a lantern system, greatly improving night navigation and attack capabilities. This system uses infrared rays for navigation and attack, and can project images similar to daytime scenery onto the new wide-angle HUD and CRT in the rear seat, allowing for safe and highly accurate navigation and attack. Masu.
