[Main battle tank of the Italian army in World War II]
During World War II, the M13/40 became the main battle tank of the Italian army. It has a solid design with a riveted body and a bogie suspension supported by leaf springs, and is equipped with a long-barreled 47mm tank gun in Italy's first powered rotating turret. At the time, they boasted excellent offensive power. It was also equipped with a 125 horsepower V8 liquid-cooled diesel engine and had a maximum speed of 30 km/h. Approximately 800 vehicles were produced from July 1940 to 1943. It was deployed mainly on the North African front and fought hard alongside the German Afrika Korps.

This is a 1/35 scale plastic model assembly kit. The total length is 143mm, and the unique appearance of the riveted joint type is vividly reproduced. Adopts a connected assembly type caterpillar with integrated parts. The suspension also has a highly realistic finish. The barrel is made of metal, and photo-etched parts are included for the anti-aircraft gun sight. Highlights include tools and radiator covers. Includes a tank soldier sitting on a turret, a standing officer figure, and 3 types of decals from the North African front. Insignia such as rank insignia are also included. Italian military jerry cans, jacks, and caterpillar attachments enhance the atmosphere. The tank crew is recreated in a padded black leather helmet for a realistic feel. Adopts a metal gun barrel. Delicate photo-etched parts tighten the classic car body.
