TAMIYA 1/35 British infantry tank Matilda Mk.III/IV. TMM300 British Machi released in July 2009
[Product introduction]
TAMIYA 1/35 British infantry tank Matilda Mk.III/IV.
[Queen of the Desert fought hard by taking advantage of her strong defense]
Developed as a heavily armored infantry tank, it was used as the main force of the British army on the North African front in World War II, taking advantage of its strong defense. Matilda fought hard as a tank. She won an overwhelming victory over the Italian army, and was able to hold off all German tank and anti-tank guns, earning her the nickname "Queen of the Desert". The battle with the German army's 88mm anti-aircraft gun during Operation Battleaxe in June 1941, aimed at liberating the strategic Tobruk, is so famous that it has left its name in military history as an indispensable presence when talking about the fierce battles in North Africa. .
[Main Features]
Matilda Mk.III/IV plastic model assembly kit. 1/35 scale, total length 174mm, total width 72mm. Based on detailed research on actual vehicles, the model has a solid appearance with plenty of presence. The turret, main gun mantlet, and front of the vehicle body have a unique form and the texture of the cast skin is realistically expressed. The suspension also reproduces the complex structure of the actual vehicle with a rational parts configuration. Caterpillars are available in belt type and linked assembly type. Includes 3 types of decals centered on the North African front. Set includes commander doll, loader and driver half-body figures. A realistic model of Matilda's profound appearance. The hatches on the engine deck are also finished with a three-dimensional feel. The commander sitting on the cupola and the loader resting on the hatch are recreated with plenty of atmosphere. A half-length portrait of the driver sticking his head out of the hatch is also included. The mantlet and front of the vehicle realistically express the texture of the cast skin. The connected and assembled caterpillar has sagging visible from the armored skirt, which enhances the model's realism. The unique texture of the exhaust pipe wrapped with insulation material and the way it is routed to the muffler are also interesting points. Comes with a limited edition leaflet showing detailed color photos of the actual Matilda. Your desire to create will increase even more.
