TAMIYA 1/35 MM German Panzer IV Type G Early production vehicle. T353784 Gosenshi G Gata Released in July 2021
[Product Introduction]
TAMIYA 1/35 MM German Panzer IV Tank G Type Early Production Vehicle.
[The roar of a long gun that echoes in North Africa]
The Panzer IV fought from the beginning of World War II until the end of the war and earned the trust of German soldiers. Among them, the G type was the first to be equipped with a long barrel 7.5cm gun in order to stand against powerful tanks such as the T-34 encountered during the Soviet invasion operation. Production took place from March 1942 to June 1943, with a total of 1,930 vehicles produced. There are differences in equipment depending on the production period, and the early production model with a 43 caliber 7.5 cm gun (cannon length approximately 3.2 m) has a barrel that is about 40 cm shorter and rounder than the 48 caliber later model (cannon length approximately 3.6 m). Its main feature was that it was equipped with a muzzle brake. The G type, which was welcomed as a promising force on the Eastern and African fronts, was able to compete with both Soviet and British tanks with its high armor penetration and long range. In particular, the vehicles of Rommel's Afrika Korps were feared by the British military, calling them the "Mk.IV Special." This is a 1/35 scale plastic model assembly kit of Panzer IV Type G. Overall length: 187mm, overall width: 82mm Based on actual vehicle research, the powerful figure is realistically modeled with a long barreled 43 caliber 7.5cm gun on a flat body. A rich set of accessory parts such as sandbags, jerry cans, and spare tracks. You can select and assemble vehicles belonging to the African Corps that have been locally modified and vehicles from the Russian front with standard specifications. The track is an interlocking type with integrated parts. A jig is also available to finish off the sag at the top. The figures that enhance the sense of reality include a total of 4 full-length figures of a vehicle commander looking ahead from the cupola hatch, an infantry commander leaning on a miscellaneous equipment box at the rear of the side tower, and 1 half-body figure of a driver. Includes markings for two types of vehicles used on the African Front and the Eastern Front. A vehicle of the 21st Tank Division painted for tropical areas. The long-barreled 75mm gun is an eye-catching, powerful figure that has been faithfully modeled. Capturing and reproducing the characteristics of the early production model G, such as the rounded muzzle brake. Sandbags and spare tracks loaded to increase defense enhance the sense of reality. The figures consist of a commander looking forward from the cupola, a half-length figure of the gunner/loader leaning out of the side hatch, a half-length figure of the driver, and an infantry commander leaning on the miscellaneous equipment box at the rear of the turret. The tank soldiers, which make the attack scene much more spectacular, are modeled in African Corps clothing. We also paid particular attention to the fitting with the turret. A vehicle of the 12th Tank Division deployed on the Russian front. You can enjoy the fearless German gray single color paint. The crawler track, which has been made more realistic by opening a hole in the center guide, is a connected type with integrated parts. Prepare a jig for assembling the tracks. Even the slight sag at the top will be reliably assembled. A rich set of accessory parts such as sandbags, jerry cans, and folded canvas sheets. The texture of soft cloth is also realistically expressed. Equipment added through on-site renovations, such as a water jerry can, wooden miscellaneous goods box, and spare wheels, creates the mood of the North African front. The rear panel also features a smoke bomb rack, wire rope, and large cylindrical muffler, giving it a three-dimensional feel.
