Commercialization of the nostalgic 72.73 series that was active on the Kabe Line
High grade (HG) specification

Types 72 and 73 in the Hiroshima area, which have been licensed for commercialization by JR West, were introduced when the Kure Line was electrified, and toilets were added to all Saha 78s and some Kuha 79s.
Later, the Kumoha 73 and Kuha 79 types were moved to the Kabe Line, and during rush hours they were used as four-car trains with two two-car formations connected, but they were retired in 1984.
High grade (HG) specification
Kuha 79-214 reproduces the side window with a sash with a top and bottom ratio of 1:2 with a new production.
Kuha 79-214 reproduces the appearance with a toilet added to the end of the car, and the sink pipe is attached as a separate part.
The door window of Kuha 79-214 reproduces the wooden frame type.
Kumoha 73-021/027 is a modernized modified vehicle with no front piping, equipped with a direction curtain and a round ventilator under the front window.

Kuha 79-466 reproduces the vehicle with three-tier windows remaining.
