Plastic model kit that requires assembly and painting
Tools, paint, etc. are required separately.
Product introduction "Japanese Navy light cruiser Sakawa" appears in the Imperial Navy series with a 2-piece 25mm machine gun! The light cruiser "Sakawa" was the 4th ship of the Agano class, and its construction was started at the Sasebo Naval Arsenal in November 1942 during the war, and was completed in November 1944 at the end of the war.
The Agano class was planned as a torpedo squadron flagship, and features a modern appearance and armament that distinguishes it from the previous 5,500-ton class.
The main gun was equipped with three 15 cm twin guns and two newly developed long 8 cm twin high angle guns.
Sakawa was completed the month after the Battle of Leyte Gulf, and the Combined Fleet was unable to carry out organized operations.
Moved from Sasebo to Kure, engaged in training in the western part of the Utsumi Sea, but had no chance to play an active role, and moved to Maizuru in the month before the end of the war.
The war ended just like that
After the war, she traveled abroad as a transport ship for demobilization, and in July 1946, she was served as an atomic bomb test ship at Bikini Atoll and sank.
The product reproduces the appearance of being equipped with No. 21, 22, and 13 electric probes from the time of completion.
Completely reproduces the shape of the modern Agano type, which is different from the flow of Japanese light cruisers up to that point.
The manual has been renewed to make it easier to read and understand.
The product is a full hull specification that can be reproduced to the bottom of the ship, and comes with a pedestal that can be displayed and enjoyed after completion.
The 25mm continuous machine gun contains both conventional one-piece structure parts and more precise two-piece parts.
The 25mm machine gun consists of two pieces, and the gunmetal of the barrel and the hull color of the base are painted separately to make it easy to reproduce.
Comes with 2 types of decals that include the warship flag, the Rising Sun flag, and the markings of the aircraft.

*This product is a plastic model kit that requires assembly.
