[Product Introduction]
FUJIMI 1/700 Special Series No.024 Japanese Navy Battleship Musashi (1945/Operation Shoichi-go). Battleship Musashi, which was a symbol of the combined fleet along with Yamato, is back with the addition of precisely shaped 25mm triple machine gun parts and specification changes. Battleship Musashi is the second of the last ship type "Yamato class" designed and built by the Japanese Navy. The ship was completed at the Kure Naval Arsenal in August 1944, the year after the war began. It was equipped with nine 46cm guns, the world's largest, and had a displacement of 64,000 tons, making it an unprecedented ship. On the same day of completion, she was transferred to the Combined Fleet. Aircraft were becoming the mainstay of the era, and Musashi underwent renovations to strengthen its anti-aircraft armament, and sortied into the Battle of the Mariana Coast and the Battle of Leyte Gulf. In October 1945, the U.S. military landed on the Philippine Islands, and participated in Operation Sho-ichi (Battle of Leyte Gulf) as a member of a fleet that combined the combined forces of Yamato and Nagato, but was sunk in the Sibuyan Sea by an air attack. I did. -The product is modeled after the appearance during Operation Shoichi-go (Battle of Leyte Gulf) in October 1944. - Two secondary guns were removed and a reinforced high-angle gun compartment was added, but the guns were not installed in time and machine guns were placed. -The final shape of Musashi equipped with No. 13 electric probe on the rear mast. -The ship's hull is composed of the port and starboard sides and the upper wooden deck that are integrated. -The porthole, which is a feature of the late war, is expressed with a convex mold to give it a blocked appearance. -The wooden deck is expressed with a convex mold. -The molding color of the parts, including the hull and bottom plate, is gray. -The bridge and chimney have a shape where the left and right sides are glued together. -Different from the Yamato, it remains in a high-angle gun mount that could not be completed in time - The main gun has a barrel and canvas integrated, and the elevation angle is fixed at the locking position. -The secondary gun is reduced to two units, and the turret and gun barrel are integrated into one part. - The 25mm triple machine gun (without shield) comes with conventional molded parts and precisely molded 2018 molded parts, which can be selected. -The barrel elevation angle of the shielded 25mm triple machine gun can be selected from two options: high elevation angle and locking position.・There are two types of carrier-based water reconnaissance aircraft: the Type 0 observation aircraft and the Type 0 (three-seater) water reconnaissance aircraft, and two aircraft each are included. -The molding color of the carrier-based aircraft is gray. - There are 3 types of included decals - Decals that include military flags, Japanese flags, and markings for carrier-based aircraft. - Three sizes of military flags are available. Contains 1/700 scale versions of the actual dimensions of 10 width, 6 width, and 3 width. - Contains Hinomaru of carrier-based aircraft, ally identification belt (yellow belt), etc., and includes Hinomaru that did not have a white border from the late war. -Decals that include the draft notation, the chrysanthemum emblem on the bow, and the ship name on the stern (2 types: gold and battleship color filling). - A decal included to easily express the walking zone on the aircraft work deck at the rear of the ship.
