TAMIYA 1/35 Military Miniature Series No.379 American infantry reconnaissance set. TMM379 American Hoheitei Satsuse Released in July 2022
[Product Introduction]
TAMIYA 1/35 Military Miniature Series No.379 American infantry reconnaissance set.
[An elite team engaged in a major counteroffensive operation]
At the beginning of World War II, American infantrymen wore field uniforms called M1941 field jackets, but from the latter half of 1944 an improved version of the field jacket was worn. Supply of M1943 field jackets begins in earnest. Around the same time, two-buckle boots were introduced that combined boots and leggings. Equipment carried includes ammunition pouches, water bottles, shovels, ponchos, etc. General soldiers carry M1 Garands, BAR M1918A2s, and M1A1 Thompsons, and NCOs and officers mainly carry M1 carbines. Handheld talkies were also used for reconnaissance missions. A set of 5 American infantry soldiers reproduced in their general appearance from late 1944 onwards. Not only can you display it alone, but you can also enjoy creating a scene by combining it with a vehicle. You can feel the realism of the great counter-offensive that began with the Normandy landings. This is a doll set that reproduces American infantry during World War II. Realistically modeled after the latter half of 1944 wearing the M1943 field jacket. A total of 5 figures are included: a commander looking ahead with an M1 carbine in hand, two standing soldiers carrying an M1 Garand and a BAR, a rifleman holding an M1 Garand and kneeling down on one knee, and a soldier communicating with a handy talkie. Small firearms and equipment also have a sharp finish. Comes with decals such as rank insignia. Modeled after American infantrymen at the end of the war wearing the highly functional M1943 field jacket. Two of the helmets were of the type with camouflage nets. A soldier standing with an M1 Garand. The attachment of the poncho on the back is optional. Soldiers with BAR M1918A2 can also choose to attach a poncho. The realistic expression of wrinkles and natural poses are also highlights. BAR M1918A2, M1 Garand, M1 Carbine, and M1A1 Thompson are reproduced in sharp detail. A bayonet, knife, grenade, binoculars, etc. are also included. Slide marks are available for rank insignias that are difficult to express with paint.
