English language instructions didn't come with it but I did see when I bought it a PDF English version was available. Was able to get it working without them. My previous watch was radio controlled so knew a little bit about it. When setting it up to receive the radio time signal the watch needs to be vertical. Tried it lying on its side and it didn't work.

I am uncertain that I received the watch that I ordered. I ordered a WV-58J-1AJF. The manual is labeled Casio 3053*JA. The manual is written in Japanese. The watch shows intermittent signal reception. I have a 12 year old Casio Atomic watch that always shows strong signal reception. I know that it is a Wave Ceptor watch but it may not be the right model and it does not seem to wrk as well as my old watch. Is this a gray market watch?
