This controller looks so good and there is an improvement in the D-Pad from the original pro controller. If you like Xenoblade Chronicles 2, I would definitely pick this up!

First:This product was advertised as a JP controller, but this was certainly not an import; the entire box is in English whereas a JP box would have Japanese on it. I don’t necessarily care if I have a JP or EN controller, but for someone purchasing specifically a JP controller for the JP box, beware. There are other reviews that I have read with people claiming this same thing.Anyway.Pros:This controller is very aesthetically pleasing and is very unique. The D-Pad arrows along with A, B, X and Y buttons all have the same colors as the sword on the plastic of the controller. As a bonus, when you connect this controller to your Nintendo Switch, it will recognize that your controller is a special Xenoblade Edition and will make your pro controller icon on the screen have the same color or grips as the controller, and I think that’s just a really cool attention to detail. I will attach a picture.As far as the performance of the controller, it performs incredibly well, and I do think I notice a quicker response time in general from this controller vs the other two regular pro controllers that I own.Any fan of the Xenoblade series will love this controller just for what it is: a cool looking pro controller with a Xenoblade theme.Cons:The grips for this controller are not flush with the plastic of the controller like they are for other pro controllers that I own and have handled. I don’t notice it whatsoever when I’m actually using the controller and it certainly doesn’t affect my gameplay, but for someone with large attention to detail (and perhaps even a little obsessive over minor details such as this) I certainly noticed it right away and it does bother me knowing that it is like this, despite not feeling it while in use. I will attach a photo attempting to show what I mean by this.Overall, I love this controller and it will be what I use to play every time.
