◆Best optical performance in its class 5th DG DN Designed exclusively for full-size mirrorless SIGMA 100-400mm F5-6.3 DG DN OS |Contemporary achieves high optical performance with a mirrorless-specific design. The drive system employs a stepping motor that is optimized for both phase detection AF and contrast AF, allowing comfortable shooting with video AF and eye AF. The fifth product in the "DG DN" lineup further expands the range of shooting with mirrorless cameras.

◆Uncompromising high image quality The lens construction consists of 22 elements in 16 groups, and employs 1 FLD and 4 SLD elements to effectively correct various aberrations. The latest optical design and optimization for mirrorless systems provide high resolution and uniform image quality to the edges. In addition, it maintains stable and high optical performance at all focal lengths, including the intermediate focal range from the wide end to the telephoto end, and under all conditions, from long distance to close-up photography, demonstrating the true value of a zoom lens.

◆Various functions that make super telephoto shooting comfortable In addition to fast and comfortable AF using a stepping motor optimized for the latest algorithms, powerful image stabilization equivalent to approximately 4 stops (OS ) mechanism is installed inside the lens. Furthermore, when combined with a camera body equipped with an image stabilization mechanism, angular shake correction is performed on the lens side, further suppressing camera shake. The lens body is also equipped with an AFL button that allows you to assign any function from the camera, and a focus limiter button that allows you to optimize the AF range depending on the shooting purpose.
